PANJIM: The Crime Branch has issued show cause notice to its officer after finding him guilty in the departmental inquiry for neglecting the crucial important information received by him regarding ‘All Brand promotion’, which has duped Goan investors under the banner of an advertising firm.
The inquiry, which was conducted by Deputy Superintendent of Police Anant Virnodkar, has held Police Sub-Inspector Laxi Amonkar responsible for neglecting the crucial information received three months back.
Inquiry was initiated after a Panjim resident filed a complaint with the Goa Police stating that the officers were informed about the scam and it (scam) would have avoided if they had acted on time.
