Fr Bolmax Pereira, the Parish Priest of Chicalim and a well-known social activist, passed away at the Goa Medical College (GMC) after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
According to sources, Fr Pereira had collapsed at the Vasco Railway Station while preparing to leave for a picnic trip on Saturday morning. He was immediately rushed for medical treatment, but later succumbed at GMC.
