ARAMBOL: The bypass road between Bhom and Korgao is riddled with huge potholes that resemble craters on the moon and causes inconvenience to motorists who travel along the route.
People who travel along this route say that it is a testing time and have to drive with caution over little that is left over the road and added that there have been been multiple mishaps at this place resulting in injuries to the motorists.

The respective road is close to Paliem-Arambol highway and splits at Bhom to go to Korgaon, Pernem via Panchkroshi Vidya Sankul. The road was repaired not too long ago however the way its condition has deteriorated only speaks volumes of the substandard work done by the road contractor, say locals.
Around 2,000 students and nearly 200 teachers use this route on a daily basis and parents have urged the authorities not play politics with them and added that locals have decided to hold a one-day protest to highlight the miserable condition of the road.
Meanwhile, the local MLA Jit Arolkar had announced the hotmixing work of this stretch, however locals have demanded to complete the work before December.
