Curti Khandepar Panchayat panch Shailesh Shet said “It’s been four years now that the national highway has been constructed. Locals have been demanding a proper drainage system for the rain water accumulated at underpass. However temporary measures by authorities did not solve the issues.”

A local, Chandrakant Holkar said that it’s a total failure of engineering. “The rain water from surrounding areas and gutters flows towards underpass and accumulates for several days. Even if it doesn’t rain for a few days in between, the rain water accumulated earlier causes a nuisance”, he added. The locals demanded an urgent solution to the problem.
