The municipal authorities are carrying out sewage line laying work at the Colva Beach junction without installing any lights or applying fluorescent paint on the tin surrounds.
The width of the road is very narrow here and it leads to accidents during the night, instances of two wheelers crashing into the corrugated galvanised iron (CGI) sheets enclosure at night have come to light. I would like to request the contracted agency to install hazard lights around the work area to prevent any fatality in future.
