The authorities and traffic safety bosses only wake up after some tragedies happen. Hundreds of stray cattle wander on the main cities, highways and take shelter on the streets after sunset.
When so many of our own people die on the road accidents every often, why do we invite tourists to enjoy Goa’s beaches and music and die in accident on roads!
On the other side, the traffic police wait at isolated places to pounce on the tourists. Oil spills on the roads also result in accidents.
The government boasts of better roads, highways and has progressed 6 lane express ways and state of art bridges but here and there some parts on the highways are in darkness and driving has become a nightmare.
