Last week, I had a case in the Margao District Court. The matter came up quite fast but was adjourned to next month as usual. I had to answer nature’s call and had to rush to a corner of the building. The following sign welcomed me, and the stench was unbearable. I had no choice but to empty my bladder at least halfway through. I usually take a plastic water bottle with mineral water. According to my conscience, I emptied the contents of the water bottle in the urinal so that at least the next visitor gets some relief. A staff member who also wanted to relieve himself asked me why I was clicking a picture and I promptly told him that it was meant for the Health Minister. He quickly moved out and said not to include him in the picture. The amazing thing is I saw this notice hanging there for the last three months and nobody cared. I am now wondering whether PM’s Swachh Bharat slogan is not meant for BJP’s zero efficient Government of Goa.
