Villagers of Collem have been suffering for the past fifteen days the due to the continuous problem of blowing of fuse of the transformer at Health Centre, Collem everyday.
The electricity department staff is available till 6 pm at the electricity office and attend to calls made during the day, but subsequently any calls to employees on their mobiles are not answered.
Children answering their SSC exams have been affected due to this continued power disruption.
Villagers fear if no action is taken by employees to undertake pre-monsoon maintenance, people of the village will have to sleep without power supply.
The fuse has been replaced, but the fault persists. I request the Assistant Engineer, Curchorem to take necessary remedial action and look into the matter.
