The roads have been devastated at several places in the State. At many places they look like craters on the moon. The authorities have failed miserably to prepare roads that last at least a couple of monsoons. The road on the Atal Setu Bridge is one example. One expected the roads at the World Heritage site at Old Goa to be in good condition. However, this is not the case. Deep craters have developed on the approach road to the World Heritage site.
The place is visited by thousands of tourists from within the country and from all over the world. At least, the roads here should have been free from pot-holes which sadly not the case as seen in the photograph. The authorities need to get their act together and repair the roads at Old Goa, during the fair weather when the rains stop pouring.
