It must be said that people find innovative ways to get rid of their garbage. Any place seems good enough to dispose of the waste.
In the port town of Vasco several large plastic bags containing garbage are seen at the base of the trees by the roadside along the Swatantra Path, near the market place. The waste has been lying there for more than a week and has become a sore-sight.
Even though there is door-to-door collection of garbage in the town, people expect the municipal garbage truck to collect the garbage from whichever spot it is disposed of.
This needs to stop. There needs to be a proper procedure to be followed in disposing of the waste.
