It is seen that several two-wheeler riders who proceed to the Vasco market enter the road from the wrong side.
Earlier it was only a vegetable and fruit market. But now even the fish-market has been shifted to this place. Hence the market is visited by several shoppers on two-wheelers. These riders prefer to enter the road from the wrong side instead of taking a long turn by going till the IOC terminus. In the past several accidents have been reported at the spot as heavy vehicles including tankers and trailers pass here.
