My husband and I have been coming to Goa for 6 years now. We love the place. We have few ideas that might help bring more tourists back to Goa.
Firstly, employ more beach and street cleaners. Get the streets washed down to rid the paths of cow pats. Get paths from Sinquerium down Candolim road sorted out as we all have to walk on the roads and then possibly nearly get run over by bikes and cars.
Fine people who use mobile phones while driving their bikes and cars. We are animal lovers but the dog situation is getting worse and worse and the condition of most of the dogs is pitiful.
We have noticed that tourists who come from other parts of India have no respect for Goa and the people who live here. They throw their rubbish in the streets, leave dirty nappies on the beach along with empty drink bottles, etc. These things need attention and be done, otherwise Goa will have no tourists at all and what a shame that would be.
