CM reiterates aim of making State business friendly

PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday chaired a high-level review meeting to track the State’s progress on promoting ease of doing business and encouraging investments. 
A statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that officials from 11 departments, concerned with the ease of doing business, were present for the meeting and briefed the Chief Minister on the progress.
“Officials assured the CM that the deadline set by the government will be met,” the CMO said and added, “CM reiterated the commitment of his government to make the State friendly for meaningful business investment, which would spur job creation and further economic growth.”
By 2019, the Chief Minister intends to see Goa ranked among the top three States in the country in promoting ease of doing business. Several government departments and corporations have launched platforms for ease of doing business for investors.
