MARGAO: The Colva Police team headed by Police Sub Inspector Anand Shirodkar is expected to arrive on Tuesday morning at Margao with Magna alias Suraj and his wife Etna Devi, the couple accused of murdering a 25-year-old Assam native Samuel alias Rahul Soren.
It may be recalled that police had exhumed Samuel’s body on December 17 evening and investigations revealed that the murder must have been committed on December 12 in the room occupied by Magna and Etna where they celebrated their daughter’s birthday.
On December 12, Samuel went shopping with Etna and the two children and returned home at around 1 pm. Magna came home at around 1.30 pm with two other friends and began celebrating his daughter’s birthday. At around 3 pm the neighbours heard a loud noise in the room but did not bother as there was a party going on.
