MARGAO: The President of the Comunidade of Verna, Renato Da Silva, has filed a complaint at the Verna police station against owners of two trucks and a tanker for trespassing through the comunidade property.
Interestingly, the comunidade property (Survey Number 117 & 119) was used as an access to a property bearing Survey Number 150 which belongs to one Tajuddin Khan and Lalita Shashikant Prabhudesai.
Da Silva said that when trucks were trespassing through the property on January 22, he had called the police. The police arrived at the site and took the trucks into custody along with the truck drivers.
On the same day, Da Silva filed a complaint asking the police to interrogate the truck drivers, get all the details and take action. However, the Verna police did not take any action, he said.
Da Silva had filed another complaint at the Verna police station on Friday reminding them to take action against those who trespassed on comunidade property. However, the police have not filed an FIR in the matter, he said.
