VASCO: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Saifullah Khan along with the party workers celebrated the 76th Birth anniversary of India’s former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi, recently.
Congress workers led by Saifullah Khan garlanded the photo of Rajiv Gandhi and offered prayers and floral tributes.

Speaking on this occasion, Saifullah said that Rajiv Gandhi played a major role in transforming India and that it was during his tenure that the Information Technology and computer field began despite the opposition.
He also said that the Congress was the true political party of India as it had empowered women by forming self-help groups and also bringing in India, the era of mobile phones.
