Margao: Margao MLA Digambar Kamat said that for the development of the state and the dreams of late Rajiv Gandhi to be fullfilled, there is a need for the Congress to come to power.
Kamat was speaking at the function organised by the South Goa Congress COmitteee to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Rajiv Gandhi at their South Goa office. Besides the former chief minister , former Union Minister and Veteran Congress leader Edward Faleiro, Quepem MLA Chandrakant Kavlekar District president Subhash Fal Dessai and other congress man were present.
Kamat added that it was Rajive Gandhi who Gave state hood and that Congress has given many developmental project to state . He appealed to the Congress workers to work with unity and get congress back to power which would benefit the state.
