The Vasco Journalist Union, president, Sudesh Bhosle was the chief guest. The senior sister of anti retro viral treatment centre, Goa Medical College, Benedita Godinho, Vasco Muslim Social Trust, president, Hassan Khan, legal advisor for Vasco Muslim Social Trust, Ismail Khan, Zindagi Goa, president, Zeferiano Fernandes, and director, Mahesh Govekar along with programme manager, Azad Shaikh, Shashikant Bhosle, Asif Hussain, Br Joaquim Barretto besides other members of the Zindagi Goa and Vasco Muslim Social Trust were present on the occasion.
This year, Raghu Madar bagged first prize in singing competition, while Nazira Shaikh bagged first prize in elocution competition. Uma and Tasmi awarded the winners of passing the ball, while in jokes and laughter competition, the first prize was bagged by Vinayak. Zindagi Goa in association with Vasco Muslim Social Trust presented gifts, sweets and even lunch to nearly 150 children who attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Bhosle appreciated the efforts of Zindagi Goa for organizing several programmes for the children who are infected and affected with HIV/AIDS and also for the orphans and slum dwelling children which would help them to explore their hidden talents and even help them to become prominent citizens. Benedita Godinho, Hassan Khan, Ismail Khan, Zeferiano Fernandes and Mahesh Govekar also spoke on the occasion.
