MARGAO: Damaciana Fernandes, mother of missing Savio Fernandes, on Monday lodged a missing complaint with the Cuncolim Police even as cops said his whereabouts are not yet known.
Cuncolim PI Diogo Gracias said a missing complaint has been registered and forwarded to Telangana police as he reportedly went missing there.
However, Telangana police have not yet responded on the matter.
Savio reportedly left his house on March 27 along with his employer in a pick-up loaded with liquor bottles/cartons. While his companion was found, Savio’s whereabouts are not known till date.
Sources disclosed that sometimes Savio worked as a helper on a pick-up for a Quepem based business establishment.
After leaving his house, on March 28, Savio called home to inform that he had arrived safely in Telangana. However, on March 30, the person who employed him on the pickup, called to inform that Savio had gone missing from Karimnagar in Telangana and could not be traced despite all efforts.
PI Gracias said they are in the process of contacting Telangana authorities regarding Savio’s disappearance.
