Marathe, who depends on the kiosk to support his family, said the small business had been operating at the location for about a year. According to the complaint, his wife had gone to open the stall in the morning when she noticed that it had been vandalised during the night.

Several items, including the kiosk’s signboard and other materials, were found damaged.

Marathe has appealed to the police to take strict action against the unidentified persons responsible for the act, stating that the kiosk is his only means of livelihood. Police are expected to investigate the matter further.
