The tenders were opened by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways last month, PWD Principal Chief Engineer Ulhas Parsekar said.

Dilip Buildcon has joined hands with a Ukrainian-based company, Mostobudivelnyi Zahin Limited (MBZ), with a 70% and 30% stake, to construct the cable-stayed bridge. MBZ has experience in construction of cable suspension bridges and will be the technical partner to Dilip Buildcon for the project.
