PANJIM: The Old Goa Police have booked a Divar resident for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman who was proceeding for Bonderam festival.
According to police, the woman lodged a complaint stating that on August 24, the accused identified as Braz Carmo Miranda followed her on his two wheeler when she was proceeding for Bonderam festival at Divar, stopped his two wheeler at the side of the road at Navelim Road, and showed his private parts before making good his escape.

An offence has been registered under sections 78(i) and 79 of BNS and further investigation is in progress.
