VALPOI: Valpoi police has registered a case against a truck owner from Pissurlem on charges of abusing an official of a mining company.
According to reports, the incident took place shortly after a meeting between truck owners and officials of the mining company at Sonshi-Sattari on Thursday evening.
The meet was convened to discuss the demand of truck owners for increased transportation charges.
While the officials and truck owners were leaving the office after the meeting, a truck owner allegedly abused an official. A police complaint was later lodged in the matter.
