PANJIM: The Crime branch arrested two persons possessing ganja and charas worth over Rs one lakh.
Hafsal Chandanaparamil Habeeb, 43 and Pritesh Sangam, 35 both natives of Chuloor, Thrissur, Kerala were arrested by the police for being in possession of drugs worth Rs 1.02 lakh.
During the raid, the Crime Branch found both of being in possession of one auto press transparent polythene bag containing blackish colour sticky substance suspected to be charas, weighing 64 grams, and one autopress transparent polythene bag containing dry greenish colour flowering and fruiting tops suspected to be ganja, weighing 102 gms worth Rs 1,02,000 approximately in the international market.
The seized drugs were attached and further investigations are in progress with through Police Inspector Narayan Chimulkar.
