PANJIM: The Colvale Police arrested two more persons in connection with a kidnapping case.
According to the police, on July 5, a kidnapping case was registered under section 137(2) of BNS Act 2023 and Section 8 of GCA 2003 in which four persons were involved for kidnapping two minor girls.
However, out of the four accused, only two namely Arbaz Khan (20) years, resident of Duler, Mapusa, and Sabir Betageri (26), resident of Waddlem Bhat, Taleigao were arrested in the said crime on July 8 and the other two were absconding.
Later, using technical surveillance and information received from reliable sources, the Colvale Police managed to arrest the two others yesterday.
The accused have been identified as Ibran Shah (26) and Subhash Kumar (26), both residents of Colvale.
