Efforts on to have IFFI MoU draft in place
PANJIM, AUG 14 (HR) – Following a report in the Herald today over the delay in signing of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for IFFI 2009, desperate efforts were on today to have the final draft in place for dispatch to the Directorate of Film Festivals in Delhi.
The final draft report is now proposed to be handed over to the chairman of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and Chief Minister Digambar Kamat who is visiting the national capital early next week.
Sources said that the final draft is incorporating changes to add more responsibilities and roles to the ESG for the forthcoming IFFI. If additional responsibilities are given, more staff would have to be recruited.
