Electrical equipments worth Rs 2 lakh were damaged from about 12 houses, after lightning struck a house in Kumbharwada-Bordem, Bicholim, on Thursday at about 2.15 pm.
According to reports, the occupants of the houses escaped unhurt. Electrical equipments like TV, refrigerators, washing machines, belonging to Kishore Kudaskar, Sanjana Kudaskar, Kedar Rajai, Gokuldas Harmalkar, Rohidas Kunkolkar, Ramakant Shetkar, Bhikaji Dalvi, Raghu Pal, Mahadev Kunkolkar and Anant Pal were damaged. Talathi Vishram Gad conducted the panchanama.
