Navelim Villagers Union defeated Nerul Sports Club 2-0 to enter the semi-finals of 4th All-Goa late Eslinda Alemao inter-village soccer at Rosary ground, Navelim on Thursday.
Navelim were leading 2-0 at the break.
Good luck smiled on Navelim when they opened their account through an own goal put in by Nerul’s Sidharth Shirodkar in the 12th minute.
Navelim doubled their tally when Milton Gomes found the nets in the 23rd minute. Nerul fought hard to reduce the margin, but in vain.
