Authorities have announced an emergency road closure at Ecoxim following damage to a major water pipeline, triggering urgent repair work in the area.
The pipeline disruption has led to a halt in water supply, affecting residents in Pomburpa, Ecoxim, and Salvador do Mundo.

As per the advisory, the affected road stretch will remain closed to traffic from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Officials noted that the route is particularly narrow, and vehicular movement could significantly delay repair operations and the restoration of water supply.
Residents and commuters have been urged to cooperate with authorities and avoid the area during the closure period to ensure that repair work is completed swiftly and normal water supply is resumed at the earliest.
