PONDA: The Sanjivani Sugar Factory employees on Tuesday complained that it is almost near to three weeks today and are not paid the salaries for the month of April.
The workers protesting at the gate said that they were getting their salaries on the seventh day of every month. However, this month’s salaries are not yet paid and due to this they are finding it difficult to meet their requirements.
The delegation of workers later met Administrator Damodar Morajkar over the pending salary issue. Morajkar assured them that their salaries will be cleared by Friday, this week.
It is learnt that Sanjivani Sugar Factory used to get money from the sale of molasses and it would become easier to clear the salaries of the workers.
