Fabindia’s CEO, MD get interim relief

Their anticipatory bail pleas to come up on April 23

PANJIM: Additional Sessions Court, Mapusa, granted interim relief to Fabindia’s CEO Subrata Datta and MD William Bissel, while adjourning their anticipatory bail applications to April 23 in the voyeurism case.
Five others, including regional manager Ruchira Pujari, marketing chief Ramu Chandra, stores in charge Kundan Gupta, e-commerce head Arun Naikar and category head Ashima Agarwal were also granted interim bail.
They have, however, been asked to appear before the Crime Branch sleuths on Friday between 10 am and 5 pm. In the event of their arrest during the questioning, the court, presided over by Judge Desmond D’Costa ordered bail be given to each of them on Rs 10,000 bond and local surety of the like amount.
Fabindia’s Candolim store manager Chaitrali Sawant, who was granted anticipatory bail this Monday, was arrested during the course of interrogation on Wednesday, but released soon.
