Sources told Herald that Sawant informed the Crime Branch officials that the regional managers based in Bangalore and the IT technicians controlled the remote accessing devices. “This means they were aware that the CCTV camera fitted on the wall of the outlet in Candolim was facing the trial room despite which they did not rectify the situation,” an officer said, hinting of their arrests.
