Fatorda Police have registered a case against two individuals in connection with the trafficking of a minor girl and her placement in illegal domestic employment in Borda.
According to the complaint, Pradeep, a resident of Baga, Velim, and originally from Jharkhand, allegedly brought the minor girl from Maharashtra to Goa between August 28 and September 1. He then placed her as a domestic servant at the residence of another individual from Marlem, Borda, who is unrelated to the child.

Authorities said both accused are being investigated under provisions of the Goa Children’s Act, which address trafficking, exploitation, and unlawful employment of minors. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
