PANJIM: Following the directives of the Centre, the State government has asked all State department heads to give in details all pending bills and liabilities.
Pranab Bhat, Under Secretary Finance in a letter to all of them, said as per the directives of Finance Minister, all the dept heads along with Accounts officers are requested to attend a meeting, with the data in prescribed proforma (“as per date-wise seniority starting with oldest pending bill of department), in order to assess the liabilities and pending bill statements of the concerned depts till 30th September 2020. The venue for the meeting is at the Secretariat- Porvorim on November 4, Wednesday.
