FDA started a series of inspections and visits from June 5 and so far 30 midday meal premises have been inspected and all have been issued notices to improve their hygienic condition. The premises have to reply within seven days stating the action plan to improve the conditions.
Meanwhile, FDA’s Food Safety Officer has drawn an additional four samples of noodles and one of wafer crisp chocolate product for sampling.
This takes the total samples of products drawn to 37.
