Colvale Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against an unknown person in connection with the alleged murder of 19-year-old Kapil Chaudhary, a native of Uttar Pradesh, whose body was found at Pirna.
Police said the case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) pertaining to murder, and investigations are underway to identify and trace the accused.

Preliminary information suggests that Kapil had recently arrived in Goa and was residing in the vicinity of Pirna. The cause and circumstances of his death are yet to be ascertained, officials said.
