First ride turns fatal for 18-year-old in Ambelim mishap

An 18-year-old youth from West Bengal, Mohammad Faluz, tragically died in a self-accident on Sunday at Ambeli, Cutbona. Faluz, who was working in the Cutbona area, reportedly did not know how to operate a two-wheeler. According to police sources, the fatal accident occurred when he attempted to ride a parked two-wheeler inside the house while no one else was present.

Witnesses stated that Faluz managed to drive the scooter for roughly 100 meters before losing control and falling. He sustained a serious head injury during the fall. Bystanders rushed to his aid and transported him to the Balli Health Center for urgent medical attention. Unfortunately, doctors at the center declared him brought dead.

The police are treating it as a case of unnatural death and are continuing their investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the accident was caused due to inexperience and lack of riding skills.
