MARGAO: After being on the run for nearly three months, the five youth who had brutally assaulted one Amit Arondekar at Borda on May 20, finally fell into the police net on Thursday.
The accused brutally assaulted Arondekar only for overtaking them in his car.
Since the day of incident, the five were absconding and their bail applications were also rejected.
Those arrested are 22-year-old Aftab Suleman Savanoor from Agassaim, 20-year-old Jafar Modinsab Tilavali from Housing Board Gogol, Sameer Ahmed Agasanahale from Davorlim Navelim, 23-year-old Sanjay Kodaganavar and 21-year-old Imtiyaz Ahmed Kamdod, both residents of Housing Board in Gogol.
