Expressing confidence ahead of the upcoming elections, Chodankar said the Congress is optimistic of winning the Cortalim Assembly constituency and securing all four seats in the Mormugao region.

Addressing the media after joining the party, Rodrigues thanked the people of Zuarinagar for their continued support. He also alleged that nearly 9,000 voters were removed from the electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, raising concerns over the revision exercise.
