PANJIM: Four Deputy Superintendents of Police have been promoted to the rank of SP.

Mahesh Gaonkar, Sammy Tavares, Serafin Dias and Lawrence D’Souza, posted at various sub divisions are being promoted to the rank of SPs.
In a separate government order, two SPs Dinraj Govekar and Bossuet Silva, who are senior scale officers, have been promoted to Junior Administrative Grade of Goa Police Service ‘Group A’ on regular basis.
The promotion orders were released by the State government on Wednesday, following recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee by Goa Public Service Commission.
