French national drowns at Colva

A 62-year old French national, Yves Claude Marcel Louis Guerin met a watery grave at the Colva beach on late Sunday night.
Colva PSI Sudesh Velip informed that the deceased had ventured out for a swim in the sea at Colva last night and drowned. The incident occurred when Guerin went for a swim at around 10.30 in the night, PSI Sudesh said.
He said the body of the foreign national was later recovered. The post mortem examination was performed today at GMC.The police are investigating.
