PANJIM: Activist Rajan Ghate, who was on a fast unto death, on Tuesday ended his fast at Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Sources revealed Ghate ended his fast after doctors advised him to do so as his condition had deteriorated. He was given tender coconut water by his wife.
Ghate was on fast unto death in Panjim demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
