The famous Morjim Ghodemodni dance took place at the Morjai temple on Thursday, marking the 8th night of Holi. The event began with the Romat Ghodemodni procession from the Bhramhan Devasthan, where participants sought blessings before proceeding.

The Morjim Ghodemodni is a traditional folk dance from Pedne taluka, renowned for its cultural significance and vibrant celebration. “During this occasion, people from all walks of life come to experience the Ghodemodni. It is a prominent tradition in Morjim with strong Marathi influences,” says local resident Vijesh Shetgaonkar.
