Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar has written to the Chief Secretary urging the state government to file an appeal in the High Court against the acquittal of Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho and others in the Power Scam case.
Patkar warned that if the government fails to act, the Congress party will be left with no choice but to pursue legal options independently. He said the acquittal raised serious questions about accountability and stressed that justice must be ensured through due legal process.
