The State government is committed to addressing the health and sanitation issues of fish workers at Cutbona Jetty.
Prasanna A Acharya IAS, Secretary (Fisheries) made this statement at a meeting held today at the Secretariat, Porvorim, which was convened to assess the recent health issues among the fish workers at the jetty.

Acharya affirmed that he would not only visit the jetty to gain a direct understanding of the issues but also ensure regular review meetings to engage all stakeholders in efforts to improve facilities at the jetty.
