The restrictions apply to all military bases, naval installations, fuel depots, communication stations, power stations, and airports across the state.

The orders are aimed at bolstering security and minimizing the risk of unauthorized access, surveillance, or disruptions near high-value infrastructure. Goa, which houses critical Indian Navy installations and fuel handling depots, has been on increased alert following regional developments.

Authorities have urged residents and visitors to comply strictly with the directives and avoid any prohibited activities such as photography, drone usage, or unauthorized gathering within the marked perimeters.

The measures are part of a broader nationwide tightening of security, particularly around strategic assets, in light of cross-border hostilities and recent aerial threats targeting key installations in northern and western India.
