Goa has officially launched the **Majhe Driver App**, a new digital platform designed to modernise the state’s transport sector by enabling commuters to book motorcycle taxis while allowing registered pilots to offer multiple on-demand services through a single application.
The app allows motorcycle taxi pilots to provide not only passenger transport but also food, grocery and parcel delivery services, creating additional income opportunities and expanding the range of services available to users.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening Goa’s digital transport ecosystem by offering a convenient, technology-driven solution for commuters while improving the earning potential of motorcycle taxi operators through diversified services.
Officials said the platform is expected to make transportation more accessible and efficient, while supporting the state’s efforts to embrace digital innovation in public mobility. By integrating ride-hailing and delivery services into one application, the Majhe Driver App is expected to benefit both commuters and service providers across Goa.
The launch marks another step towards modernising Goa’s transport infrastructure, with the government focusing on technology-enabled solutions that enhance convenience, improve service delivery and generate sustainable livelihood opportunities for motorcycle taxi pilots.
