Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar said the numbers of tourists from Chennai and Hyderabad has been increasing over the years. “We have observed that people come here for a wide range of activities right from lounging at the beaches to indulging in adventure sports and experiencing nature at its best. While we promote Goa as a 365-day destination, we keep tourists’ safety and security as one of our main priorities.

PANJIM: Goa Tourism has received back-to-back awards for ‘Best designed stall’ at TTF Hyderabad and ‘Best Domestic Tourism promotion award’ at IITM Chennai. This is attributed to Goa Tourism’s continuous marketing and promotional efforts.
