Goan NSUI leader Ahraz Mulla, the only Goan currently serving as National General Secretary of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), has led the Telangana NSUI unit to a landmark victory in the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Students’ Union Elections held in Hyderabad.
Under Mulla’s guidance, the Telangana unit delivered a strong performance, marking a significant milestone for the organisation in the state and reinforcing NSUI’s growing influence in campus politics.
Party functionaries said the victory reflects effective leadership, strong grassroots mobilisation and a clear connect with student issues. They credited Mulla’s strategic direction and organisational skills for energising the unit and uniting cadres ahead of the polls.
The result has been welcomed by NSUI leaders across the country, who described it as a morale booster and a sign of the organisation’s expanding footprint in key universities.
For Ahraz Mulla, the achievement adds to his growing profile at the national level, while also bringing pride to Goa, as he continues to represent the state on a prominent platform within the student wing of the Congress party.
