VALPOI: Golali village in Dongurlim Thane Village Panchayat jurisdiction has been facing acute water shortage problem since last 10 days.
Golali villagers have complaint to Valpoi Water Supply Department that the water is not flowing in their taps for the last 10 days and the officials have not taken any action till date.

“The Valpoi Water Supply Department officials told us that most of the staff are on leave and no one is there in the office to solve the water shortage problem,” informed the villagers.
According to the villagers, the water pump which has been connected to the village borewell is broken down due to some technical problems and also the borewell water level has come down.
“We have raised the water shortage issue in the village gram sabha. The panchayat body has failed to solve our water shortage problem,” said a villager.
